What is CyberPatriot (and what do these sounds mean)?

CyberPatriot is a cybersecurity competition hosted by the Air Force Association that revolves around competitors having to fix network vulnerabilities and harden virtual machines.

Sound Effect Descriptions

Gain Sound - Occurs when a vulnerability is found/patched by the competitor.

Alarm Sound - Occurs when competitors get a deduction in points.

Gong Sound - When a significant event (configuration chagne, critical system event, etc.) occurs during the competition.

Siren Sound - Occurs when multiple copies of the same VM/image are open at once (often during practice rounds).

Horn Sound - Serves as an error notification within the competition (such as misconfigurations, etc.).
